Here in the past couple of years, this has been the most talked about and requested appetizer that I ever make when it comes to gatherings. I joke that this is the way I can bribe my sister-in-law to come over, because she loves it so much.
Literally, EVERY time this is present, I’m asked numerous times what the recipe is for this cheese ball because people love it so much. With some slight modifications, I transformed the same recipe into a vegetarian cheese ball as well, for my meatless friends.
Chicken Cheese Ball Recipe:
(2) 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened
0.4 oz packet of powdered Ranch dressing
5 oz. can of chicken
Beat all ingredients in a bowl at medium speed until well blended. Shape into a ball, using a knife or spatula on a serving dish. Making this ahead of time lets the flavors marinate a little more, making it even more tasty. Serve with crackers.
*The mini Club crackers are perfect, because you don’t have to use a little spatula to spread on the crackers. Just dip and enjoy!
Ranch Cheese Ball Recipe:
(2) 8 oz. package cream cheese, soften
2 cups grated mild cheddar cheese
1 oz. packet of powdered Ranch dressing
Prepare the same way as chicken cheese ball.
