Here in the past couple of years, this has been the most talked about and requested appetizer that I ever make when it comes to gatherings. I joke that this is the way I can bribe my sister-in-law to come over, because she loves it so much. 😀
Literally, EVERY time this is present, I’m asked numerous times what the recipe is for this cheese ball because people love it so much. With some slight modifications, I transformed the same recipe into a vegetarian cheese ball as well, for my meatless friends.
Chicken Cheese Ball Recipe:
(2) 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened
0.4 oz packet of powdered Ranch dressing
5 oz. can of chicken
Beat all ingredients in a bowl at medium speed until well blended. Shape into a ball, using a knife or spatula on a serving dish. Making this ahead of time lets the flavors marinate a little more, making it even more tasty. Serve with crackers.
*The mini Club crackers are perfect, because you don’t have to use a little spatula to spread on the crackers. Just dip and enjoy!
Ranch Cheese Ball Recipe:
(2) 8 oz. package cream cheese, soften
2 cups grated mild cheddar cheese
1 oz. packet of powdered Ranch dressing
Prepare the same way as chicken cheese ball.
