This was my 2nd attempt with making a doll cake. I wanted to do a different pattern on this one, get creative with the different dresses if possible. The bottom part of the dress is a ruffle, and even though the lighter part looks white, it’s actually a very light pink.
What I learned: To tint the lighter color a little more. I wanted the combination of 2 shades of pink, but the lighter pink is too light. Also, I want the lighter color to be smoothed instead of starred, that way the different shades will stick out a little more.
